User Guide & Documentation

Welcome to the Ecosystem

The Transparent for Talents App is more than just a task list; it is a comprehensive, centralized workspace designed to empower linguists and freelancers. It is built to provide full transparency over your projects, finances, and performance metrics.

Whether you are on the go with your mobile device or working deeply at your desktop, the ecosystem connects you to global opportunities instantly.

Work Efficiently

Manage translation tasks, access instructions, and upload deliverables seamlessly. The interface is optimized to reduce administrative time so you can focus on linguistics.

Financial Clarity

Track every cent. From the moment a Purchase Order (PO) is issued to the final bank transfer, you have real-time visibility into your earnings and upcoming payouts.

Smart Automation

Configure intelligent rules to auto-accept work that matches your expertise. Define your domains, rates, and volume limits to let the app find work for you while you sleep.

The Dashboard

Your command center for daily operations.

Gamification & Badges

Your performance is recognized. Beside your name, you will see your earned badges. These represent your reliability and speed.

How to earn them: Respond to opportunities quickly and maintain high-quality delivery. High-ranking talents often get priority assignments.

Note: Badges and ranks are reset monthly to give everyone a fair chance to compete.

Notification Hub

Stay updated without being overwhelmed. Click on the notification bell icon to view your full history.

Customization: Use the gear icon inside the hub to toggle specific alerts. You can choose to be notified about "Task Ready" events but mute "General Announcements" if you prefer.

Explore

This banner highlights New Opportunities. Tap the arrow to jump directly to the available opportunities list to accept what suits you.

Manage Auto Accept

This is a powerful feature to stabilize your workflow. Instead of manually refreshing for work, let the system allocate tasks to you.

Work-Life Balance (Daily Limit) Set a "Max Work Amount Per Day" (e.g., 2000 words or 9 hours, etc.). This prevents burnout. The app intelligently stops accepting new work once you reach 70% of this limit, leaving buffer room for urgent revisions.
Smart Rules Create detailed filters. For example, you can set a rule to only accept "Legal Domain" tasks from "French to English" that are between "500 and 1500 words."
VACATION MODE: If you are taking time off, you MUST record your Vacation in the user profile. If you don't, the Auto-Accept feature might continue assigning you work, leading to missed deadlines and penalties.

Running Tasks Overview

A color-coded snapshot of your current responsibility:

  • New Action Required: You have been assigned these tasks but haven't started.
  • In-Progress Active: You are currently working on these.
  • Overdue Critical: These tasks have passed their deadline. Contact support immediately if this happens.

Financial Summary

  • Next Payment: Scheduled transfer date and amount.
  • Pending Verification: Work delivered but waiting for project manager approval.
  • In Progress: PO issued, waiting for payment date.

Task Management

Navigate to the Tasks tab to manage your projects.

Filters & Export In the top bar, press the filter icon to customize your view of active tasks, new tasks, and opportunities. You can also press the Excel icon to export this data for offline analysis.

My Tasks (Active Work)

This is your primary workspace. It contains every task you have agreed to do.

  • Deep Dive: Tapping a task opens the full "Task View." Here you can see source files, reference materials, style guides, and PM instructions.
  • Delivery: You can upload deliverables directly here, though using the Web Companion is recommended for complex files.
  • Communication: Stuck? Use the 3-dot menu to start a chat with the specific Project Manager or send a support ticket. This links your query to the Task ID automatically.

New Tasks (Direct Assignments)

These are tasks specifically curated for you by a PM. They are waiting for your confirmation.

  • Quick Actions: Slide right to accept, slide left to reject.
  • Review First: We recommend clicking on the task to preview the files and instructions before accepting. Ensure you can meet the deadline and quality requirements.
  • Auto-Move: When accepting a task, it will be moved automatically to the My Tasks tab.

Opportunities (The Job Pool)

This is a competitive marketplace. Tasks here are broadcast to all eligible linguists.

  • Speed Matters: These are First Come, First Served.
  • Conditional Acceptance: Can't meet the deadline? You can sometimes propose a new delivery time (Conditional Accept), which the PM can review.

Payments

Full transparency on your financial status.

Invoices

The system automatically generates invoices for your completed work. Invoices are grouped by Due Date.

Status Tracking: By default, the list shows Unpaid invoices. Use the filter icon to view Paid invoices.

  • Unpaid: The invoice is generated and approved, but the payment cycle date has not been reached.
  • Paid: The funds have been released to your bank or e-wallet.
Drill Down & Support Click on any invoice to see exactly which tasks are included. If you see a discrepancy, click the 3-dot menu on that specific invoice to open a support ticket.

Payments & Transfers

This tab tracks the actual movement of money.

  • Details: Click on any payment row to view its details, bank/e-cash info, and the list of invoices attached to it.
  • Transaction Log: A detailed history of every step: Creation -> Transfer Initiated -> Completed.
  • Support: You can also click on the 3-dot menu to send a support ticket regarding a specific payment.

Analytics & Performance

Understand your metrics to grow your career.

The dashboard provides a 360-degree view of your standing on the platform. Use the filter icon to switch between Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Period, Yearly, or Custom views.

1. Quality Evaluation

Your reputation is built here.

  • LQA Scores: Ratings from reviewers and Quality Control (QC) regarding your translation accuracy.
  • Customer Feedback: Direct feedback from the end-client (Positive, Neutral, Negative).
  • PM Rating: How easy are you to work with? PMs rate your communication and commitment.

2. Response Analysis

This tracks your engagement with the platform.

  • Response Time: How fast do you react to a notification? Faster response times often lead to more direct assignments.
  • Missed Opportunities: See how much work you missed by not responding in time.

3. Utilization & Productivity

Utilization: Are you working at full capacity? This metric helps you understand if you have room to take on more work.

Productivity Breakdown: A detailed chart showing your output (Word Count) broken down by:

Navigate

On your mobile app, go to Profile > Linked Devices > Add Device.

Interface Overview

Task View (Right Panel)

Access all instructions and reference files. This is ideal for reading complex style guides that are hard to view on a small phone screen.

Drag & Drop Upload (Left Panel)

The Key Feature: Simply drag your translated files from your desktop folder and drop them into the upload box. It is significantly faster than transferring files to your phone first.

Requirement for Reviewers: You must upload the evaluation sheet here to mark the task as complete.

Status Sync: While you can upload files on the web, you must finalize and mark the task as "Completed" from your mobile app.
